Architecture of Distributed Control System for Gearbox-Free More Electric Turbofan Engine

This article presents the development of electric turbofan engine in distributed architecture with a design thrust range 3 to 7.5 and from 30 kN for small medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles. The subsystems are considered as separate smart modules built-in control system, exchanging data via digital channel central diagnostics unit. key units combined following subsystems: starter turbine generators, oil pumps, actuator guide vanes, fuel metering unit, diagnostic All pumps vane electrically driven. Control monitoring signals transmitted bus. Functional reliability analysis technical configuration each subsystem presented. Based on systems gearbox-free engine, different configurations described proposed.
